Bengal doesn't seem to realize his size. After introducing him to his new bed, it took a little while to get it right.
Come on Bengal! You are laying on it the wrong way!
What a goofball! Oh well, I guess that is the designated butt pillow.

Bringing Home a Tiger
Flying Laird has the most gorgeous black and orange brindle coat so we have taken to calling him Bengal. When we met him at the shelter, we of course brought our stunt chihuahua Elphie to ensure tolerance. Bengal wanted to play so bad, but Elphie was not in the mood. Bengal was very submissive to Elphie's warnings, so we knew everything would be fine with our other dogs as well.
The car ride was fine and when we arrived home we took Bengal for a walk. He is very inquisitive and loves to smell everything, like he is soaking up a new world. Despite being a big boy, he was very receptive to corrections while on the leash and within only a few minutes, was walking next to me like a gentleman.
Then we took him into the backyard so he could run around and have a nice open space for our other dogs to meet him. You can see Link checking him out here on the right, and Leia sneaking in a sniff on the left. Everything went great. Bengal loves to investigate, prance around, and chase the ball. Despite the occasional sniff, he mostly ignored the other dogs.
Now it was time to teach him how to use the doggy door...
